Stevie

Good news, Stevie was released from the hospital and is feeling great! Eating, playing, and all that good puppy stuff.

His stay was twice as long as hoped for, so his bill is twice as big - but he's worth it.

Stevie is a little border collie baby who found himself in big trouble. He wound up in a rural Georgia shelter, unvaccinated with no defenses against those evil puppyhood diseases.

Stevie seemed okay when he was pulled out of the shelter for Starfish Border Collie Rescue. He is an affectionate, bold, well-mannered baby with great house manners and winnings ways.

Sadly, the very next morning Stevie was lethargic and not interested in food. These are BIG red flags in rescue and sure enough, little Stevie was diagnosed with Big Bad Parvo.

Many rescues can't afford to support a parvo puppy - treatment is extremely expensive (especially compared to the $12 his family should have paid to get him vaccinated!!!!). But Starfish chose to invest in Stevie.

It is still possible that Stevie won't make it. He needs love sent his way. Starfish needs funds sent their way. The money from this ChipIn will go to them to offset these costs.
